Although still relatively unknown in the United States, NUM controls are highly regarded throughout the rest of the world and are a very viable solution for many of today's retrofit applications.

Many existing NC and CNC machines built in the 60's, 70's and 80's can benefit from a retrofit or a complete recontrol. It's an area that MTB specializes in. Control system retrofits can be performed on your plant floor, in much less time than a major rebuild. The result is often increased uptime and output of higher quality parts. Today's modern controls also offer more reliability, serviceability, and features than the original control systems.


Specializing in Recontrol and Rebuild of CNC and PLC Controlled Machines

Many of these early NC, CNC and PLC controlled machines are already equipped with ball screws and drive motors. This makes the transition to the new generation controls relatively straightforward, inexpensive and fast...especially when compared to the cost of a new machine.
