Pfauter PE-80AW CNC Gear Hobber
S/N 27327, 1990
We have one of these machines which have been removed from service as
fully functional machine. This machine can be purchased with the existing
AB8200 controls, or it could be purchased with a full recontrol using either GE Fanuc 18i-MB, Siemens 840D, or
a NUM
1050 CNC.
As with
all used equipment MTB places for sale, this machine will be totally
cleaned, hydraulic and coolant systems drained and cleaned, all gib
adjustments will be checked, all worm lashes will be adjusted, all
broken or missing parts will be replaced, all oil leaks repaired and then the machine will be fully recertified using the
ISO/DIN 6545 alignment standards for gear hobbing machines.
This can machine can also be painted and/or fully rebuilt
back to original OEM specifications for a reasonable cost.
This machine came from to us
from Black and Decker where it saw service cutting very
small gears for hand tools. It has a high speed 3000 RPM
hob head, 6 thread table worm, automatic loading system
with high speed EWAB chain and double gripper, power
clamping, Hansen coolant oil chiller, floor standing
mist extraction unit, full guarding.
The controls are unique in
the sense that this machine has an Allen Bradley 8200
CNC but it does not have the proprietary Pfauter
Geartronic system, instead the AB8200 performs the
Geartronic function itself. It is equipped with Bosch
'T' type servo drives and motors which are the more
reliable later version systems.
