The machine will be completely cleaned, all hydraulic and lubrication systems drained and cleaned, all filters replaced. The axes will be checked and corrected per the DIN ISO 6545 alignment tolerances, repeatability, performance and other mechanical and electrical problems.

This machine was removed from Caterpillar in working order. However it does require a full recontrol to make it a reliable machine. This machine can be easily re-controlled by us using either GE Fanuc 16i-MB, Siemens 840 or NUM CNC's. We can even make this machine in a manually operated version if the loader is not required for your application.

The machine was cutting near net castings for most of its life. The original process called for 8 near net castings to be placed on the magazine, each part is loaded into the machine, automatically sensed to determine its relationship to the hob cutter, then offset to align the near net casting to the hob, and machined. The operator loads the parts into the magazine, as the cut ones are indexed out. The machine can be used with or without the loading system. Operation as a manual machine is easily accomplished. We can offer new tooling, grippers and jaws to fit your parts as required.
