We recently completed a very complicated
retrofit of a proprietary control system manufactured by Lenord and Bauer in
Germany. The company who made the components no longer had any documentation
on them as they were custom engineered and manufactured exclusively for Kapp
in Coburg Germany. Kapp no longer could supply the details of the systems in
workings, so in order to help the customer, we completely reverse engineered
the system and utilizing an Allen Bradley PLC with small HMI were able to
replace the defective Lenord and Bauer parts. The parts we were able to
emulate are:
